Please see below frequently asked questions:

Is SJN Motors Limited permanently closed?

Yes, the company ceased trading on 10 October 2018 with all employees being made redundant. The company is due to enter creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 7 November 2018. BRI Business Recovery and Insolvency will be writing to the company’s creditors in due course.

My car is still under warranty provided by the company, is the warranty  valid?

Unfortunately, warranties provided by the company cannot be honoured, given it has ceased trading and is entering creditors’ voluntary liquidation. Should a vehicle have mechanical faults which the owner believes are covered by the warranty, the costs of repair will be that of the owner with the owner being able to submit an unsecured claim in the liquidation process.  Should a vehicle owner believe they are a creditor, please contact Bob McDonald via email,  rmcdonald@briuk.co.uk  providing details of their claim.

My vehicle is subject to a third party warranty, is this warranty valid?

Yes, to the extent of the terms and conditions of the warranty purchased. Vehicle owners should review the terms and conditions of the warranty and act accordingly.

I was offered a free MOT or an MOT for as long as I owned the vehicle, is this still valid

No. The company has ceased trading and the promise of a future MOT cannot be honoured.
